British Airways’ thrice weekly service between London and
Durban started on Monday, with the first flight from London landing on Tuesday
morning and the first departure also taking place on Tuesday.
Flights will depart on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 07h35
from Durban and arrive in London at 17h45. Flights from London will depart Mondays,
Thursdays and Saturdays at 15h45 and arrive in Durban at 05h35 the next day.
The fares start at R8 762, including surcharges and
taxes. However, there is a launch fare of R7 740, also including surcharges and
taxes, which is for sale until November 4, for travel until September 23, 2019.
There are block-out dates for these fares between November
30 and December 23 for economy (World Traveller) and premium economy (World
Traveller Plus). No block-out periods apply for business class (Club World).
