Minor Hotels will accelerate its global expansion in 2025, with plans to open over 285 new hotels and almost 47 000 keys over the next three years.
This ambitious pipeline will bring the group's portfolio to over 850 properties by 2027.
Currently operating more than 560 properties worldwide, Minor Hotels aims to add over 100 properties in Asia, 60 in the Middle East and Africa, and 40 in Australia and New Zealand.
2025 opening highlights
Minor’s notable launches for the year include:
- Tivoli Kopke Porto Gaia Hotel (Portugal) – A historic wine cellar-turned-hotel, opening in February.
- nhow Roma (Italy) – A design-forward property debuting in the second quarter.
- Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles Resort – A flagship Indian Ocean property reopening in the third quarter.
- Anantara Kafue River Zambia Tented Camp – A luxury safari experience launching in the third quarter, as reported by Travel News.
- NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort – A revamped resort opening in the fourth quarter.
