Amadeus is ONE Order certified

AMADEUS has received

Iata’s ONE Order

Certification, meaning the

technology company has

been certified as a capable

Order Management System

by Iata.

 According to Andy

Hedley, gm Amadeus

Southern Africa: “ONE

Order is an Iata-backed

IT initiative that provides

airlines, travel consultants

and passengers with more

flexible dynamic offers, a

personalised experience,

seamless shopping,

delivery and real-time

financial flows.”

Andy says, through ONE

Order, airlines are able to

consolidate passengers’

personal information

and purchases, including

fares and ancillaries,

within a single record of

information. This means

the current system

involving airlines creating

PNRs for personal

information and EMDs for

ancillary products will be

combined into one single

document.

He says this certification

shows that “Amadeus is

committed to the technical

evolution of its airline

customers and the wider

travel industry”.
