Mauritius has thrown open its doors and now anyone may visit, vaccinated or unvaccinated.
The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority says no pre-departure testing is now required and there is no testing on arrival.
The previous requirement for self-isolation of unvaccinated travellers has fallen away. Facemasks are no longer obligatory, except in airports, in airport transfer vehicles, on public transport and in all health-care facilities, including pharmacies.
The MTPA recommends that the All in One Mauritius travel form be filled in by visitors before departure. The form, with its QR code, should then be printed out and presented at the airport on arrival. Failing that, the disembarkation card can be filled in on arrival.
