Airlink will launch a limited scheduled domestic air service from Monday June 8, with flights on the Johannesburg-Cape Town and Johannesburg-Durban trunk routes, using 98-seat Embraer E190 regional jets.
This follows the implementation of South Africa’s COVID-19 lev 3 restrictions.
“We are ready to start flying our customers again. We used the down-time to put our pilots and cabin crew through their paces on simulators and training devices, while also maintaining our aircraft fleet,” says Airlink ceo and md, Rodger Foster.
Airlink’s flight schedule, from June 8, is below. The introductory schedule will be augmented with additional frequencies as from June 15.
