MK revises ancillary charges
AIR Mauritius has introduced new charges for its ancillary services,
effective April 1. Emergency exit row seats will increase from R550
to R650. Business-class lounge access in SA sold at the airport is
now R350 for all airports. Last-minute airport upgrades to business
class on the Airbus wide-body aircraft will be increased to R3 300
per person from Cape Town and Johannesburg. The last-minute
airport upgrade to business class on the A319 remains at R1 800
per person. Excess baggage will change from US$60 (R865) per
piece to $65 (R938) per piece. For name corrections, customers
will be charged R1 500 with required authorisation, and the
administration fee for refunds is R600. Rerouting for fares that do
not permit rerouting with the required authorisation will be charged
R1 500.
Earn, redeem AAdvantage miles on CX
PASSENGERS can now earn and redeem American Airlines’
AAdvantage miles for travel on Cathay Pacific and Cathay Pacific
codeshare flights operated by oneworld carriers and affiliates. To
earn miles, passengers must have an eligible fare ticket, booking
code and fly an eligible route. Regions must be between Asia and
Africa, Canada, Europe, the Indian subcontinent, Middle East, South
Pacific and the US.
