Emirates’ A350 aircraft has made its debut in India and now operates flights to Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The Airbus A350 now serves five destinations in the airline's network.
The A350 features the airline’s latest interiors, technologies and innovations, and is configured in economy class, premium economy and business class.
Emirates’ A350 services to both Mumbai and Ahmedabad will operate daily as follows:
- Mumbai: Flight EK502 departs Dubai at 13h15 and arrives in Mumbai at 17h50h. Return flight EK503 leaves Mumbai at 19h20 and arrives in Dubai at 21h05.
- Ahmedabad: Flight EK538 departs Dubai at 22h50 and arrives in Ahmedabad at 02h55 the next day. Return flight EK539 departs Ahmedabad at 04h25 and arrives in Dubai at 06h15.
The A350 services to India follow the launch of operations to Edinburgh, Kuwait and Bahrain.
The airline also serves Mumbai and Bangalore daily with its A380 aircraft.
Beirut and Baghdad
Emirates will restart its daily services to Beirut, Lebanon, and Baghdad, Iraq, on February 1.
The daily flights to Rafic Al Hariri International Airport in Beirut will be served by a Boeing 777-300ER.
From April 1, the airline will add a second daily service to Beirut, which will also be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
The airline will operate to Beirut and Baghdad on the following schedule:
- Beirut: Flight EK953 departs Dubai at 11h30 and arrives in Beirut at 14h00. Return flight EK954 leaves Beirut at 15h30 and arrives in Dubai at 21h20. From April 1, the second daily service, flight EK957, will take off at 07h30, arriving in Beirut at 10h30. Return flight EK958 departs Beirut at 12h05, arriving in Dubai at 16h55.
- Baghdad: The daily flights to Baghdad will be served by a Boeing 777 aircraft. On Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays, flight EK941 departs Dubai at 08h05 and arrives in Baghdad at 09h50. Return flight EK942 departs Baghdad at 11h25 and arrives in Dubai at 14h35. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, flight EK943 departs Dubai at 13h00 and arrives in Baghdad at 14h25. Return flight EK944 leaves Baghdad at 15h55 and arrives in Dubai at 19h10.
Etihad to add third daily service to Milan
Etihad Airways will add a third daily flight to Milan, starting November 1.
The new flight schedule, effective from November 1, will be as follows:
First daily flight:
- Flight EY81 departs Abu Dhabi at 02h45 and arrives in Milan at 06h40.
- Flight EY82 departs Milan at 09h55 and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 19h00.
Second daily flight:
- Flight EY79 departs Abu Dhabi at 14h25 and arrives in Milan at 18h20.
- Flight EY80 departs Milan at 21h50 and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 06h55 the next day.
Both flights will be operated with a Boeing 777-300 aircraft.
Third daily flight:
- Flight EY87 departs Abu Dhabi at 09h10 and arrives in Milan at 13h15.
- Flight EY88 departs Milan at 15h10 and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 00h25 the next day.
The flight will be operated with an Airbus A321LR aircraft.
Turkish returns to Damascus
On January 23, Turkish Airlines resumed flights to Damascus, Syria, for the first time in 13 years.
The carrier operates three flights a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
- Flight TK846 departs Istanbul at 09h00 and arrives in Damascus at 11h00.
- Return flight TK847 departs Damascus at 13h00 and arrives in Istanbul at 15h10.
