AIR Canada will
launch its new B787
Dreamliner later this
month on some domestic
and transatlantic routes.
Beginning in July, the airline
will y from Toronto to Tel
Aviv. Soon after, a new daily,
year-round service between
Toronto and Tokyo’s Haneda
Airport will commence.
This year is one of investment and
growth for Air Canada, says Paul

EMEA. The airline is also investing
in its new international premium
economy product. In July 2013,
the rst of ve new B777-300ER
aircraft entered service,
inaugurating AC’s premium
economy cabin on its
Montreal-Paris ights.
The B787 will also be
congured with premium
economy.
The carrier plans to
deploy its B777 on the
Montreal-London service
in the middle of this year.
This coincides with the
June opening of Heathrow’s
T2, which will handle AC ights.
“Customers can y in with Star
Alliance partners, such as SAA, and
connect within 45 minutes to an hour
within the same terminal,” Paul says.
Travellers can also reach Toronto via
Frankfurt, on combined fares with the
Lufthansa Group.
