THE picturesque coastal town of Knysna in the Western Cape is increasingly becoming known as an artists' haven and a highlight on the annual events calendar is the Nederburg Knysna Arts Experience to be held this year from September 22 to October 1.
The visual arts festival features more than 60 art exhibitions by internationally acclaimed local artists.
Fringe events include a living arts workshop, a topical Spring School lecture programme, a community arts festival of song, dance, drama, music and cabaret performances at local restaurants and theatre venues.
