IGA Istanbul Airport is introducing a video call centre to provide visual and audio support for travellers with visual or hearing impairments.
The centre offers passengers assistance in both voice and video communication and will offer detailed tariff information, explanations and live video support around the clock.
Customers can visit the centre for sales and aftersales support, damage assessment and remote technical support as well, making use of the centre’s screen sharing feature. The call centre was created in collaboration with Turkish telecom operator Turkcell Global Bilgi.
“I am delighted to affirm that such an initiative aligns with our vision of providing customers with a unique digital experience and our goal of providing equal communication opportunities for everyone,” said Hande Zop Erol, Deputy GM of Sales at Turkcell Global Bilgi.
The company has also added the ‘Route With Me’ feature on the IGA Istanbul Airport mobile app to assist visually impaired passengers to navigate the airport.
