Zimbabwe has announced the construction of a multi-purpose stadium in Victoria Falls in preparation for the ICC Cricket World Cups.
Namibia and Zimbabwe will jointly host the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup in early 2026. The 2027 ICC Cricket World Cup will have matches in Zimbabwe, Namibia and South Africa, reports travelnews.africa.
About 10 hectares have been allocated for the stadium in the Masuwe Special Economic Zone for Tourism. The venue will accommodate 10 000 people and also have facilities for rugby, tennis, hockey and squash.
