Royal Caribbean has announced that it will open the Royal Beach Club Cozumel in Mexico in 2026.
During an event held at the future location of the beach club, Jason Liberty, Royal Caribbean Group President and CEO, and Michael Bayley, Royal Caribbean International President and CEO, unveiled plans for the latest addition to the Royal Beach Club Collection.
Royal Beach Club Cozumel is the latest destination in the group and the second addition to the Royal Beach Club Collection. The seven-hectare Royal Beach Club Paradise Island property on Nassau Paradise Island will open in 2025.
“The anticipation for what’s next when it comes to Royal Caribbean destinations has only continued to build since we revealed Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas which opens in 2025. Now is the perfect time to announce the next iteration of this collection with Royal Beach Club Cozumel,” said Bayley. “Cozumel is an incredible destination, and the beach club will perfectly complement all the island has to offer as an experience that combines familiar Royal Caribbean touches with the spirit of Mexico, alongside amenities and activities for every type of vacationer.”
Royal Beach Club Cozumel is positioned as the “ultimate beach day in Mexico”, emphasising every detail of the experience – from service to design. Guests can enjoy swim-up bars, family pools, private cabanas, snorkelling, kayaking, and other water activities. The property will provide a range of dining options and visitors can immerse themselves in Mexico’s culture with tequila tastings and cooking classes.
