After an extensive renovation, Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is sporting a brand-new look.
“In a very competitive destination in an equally competitive market and region, it is important to listen to your trade partners and your guests, and keep the offerings and products fresh, alive and vibrant, “said Ross Kennedy, Director at Africa Albida Tourism, the operator of the lodge.
The rooms and central areas now showcase the work of local artisans, some of whom worked with recyclable materials. The Buffalo Bar has been enhanced and the MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant has a refreshed dining area.
“In the refurbishment exercise, which covered our rooms and central areas, we worked with local suppliers and artisans, some of whom work with recyclable materials, and reintroduced the strong and vibrant colours for which the lodge has always been known, and which convey the warmth of Zimbabwean hospitality,” Kennedy said.
The main reception area and boardroom, which is ideal for small meetings and has views over the waterhole, have also been enhanced and the library and mezzanine lounge have been given a facelift.
