Mozambican carrier LAM will launch direct flights between Maputo and Cape Town from November 22. The schedule for the flights is not yet available.
And in other news, it has announced December 12 as the start of its thrice-weekly direct flights from Maputo to Lisbon.
Both services will be flown using aircraft owned by Fly Modern Ark, the company appointed to perform business restructuring on the airline, reports clubofmozambique.com.

TM704 departs MPM on Wednesday at 22h00 and arrives LIS at 06h55 the next day.
TM704 departs MPM on Friday at 22h15 and arrives LIS on Saturday at 07h10.
TM703 departs LIS on Tuesday and Thursday at 16h35 and arrives MPM at 05h05 the next day.
TM703 departs LIS on Saturday at 16h00 and arrives MPM at 04h30 on Sunday.
