Gondwana Collection Namibia has launched a new product – Go2 Traveller Transfers – offering nine transfer routes to Namibia’s top destinations.
The transfer service aims to compensate for the current shortage of rental cars following the COVID-19 pandemic which saw car rental companies selling off stock to stay afloat.
Bookable now and operational as from June 1, Go2 Traveller Transfers will offer a daily hop-on hop-off transport service. The convenient, affordable and reliable service is aimed at both locals and the overseas market.
The transfers will leave in the morning (on a daily basis) from Windhoek to the Kalahari, Swakopmund, Etosha and Sossusvlei; and from Sossusvlei to the Kalahari; Swakopmund to Sossusvlei and Damaraland; Etosha to Damaraland.
Transfers from the Kalahari to the Fish River Canyon operate thrice weekly.
The return trips will be offered in the early afternoon. Passengers can be dropped off at their respective destinations along the pre-set routes.
Vehicles range in size from Quantums and Sprinters to 4x4 Iveco Busses. The rack rate is N$690 (R690) per person per transfer. Commission rates of 10% for tour operators apply.
