You may have heard that there were all sorts of crazy flight attendant requirements in the past. Back in the 1970s, they were crazier than ever.
This is a snapshot of a letter sent to an air hostess whose only crime was gaining a single kilogram!
The letter translated in English reads:
Dear Miss
You were weighed on July 27, 1972, at which time you weighed 61kg, which is 1,10 kg over the allowable maximum in your case.
You are therefore granted until August 25 1972 to rectify the matter so that you comply with the limits. It is required that you be weighed every two weeks to ensure that you make the necessary progress in this area.
