Tsogo Sun is reported by Business Day to have sold its 50% ownership of luxury Seychelles property, Maia Luxury Resort and Spa, to the Minor Hotels Group. Tsogo owned 50% of the Mahé property through its 50% ownership of United Resorts and Hotels.
The group retains its ownership of its other Seychelles property, the iconic Paradise Sun, a perennial favourite for South Africans on the island of Praslin.
Seychelles is set to reopen its borders August 1 to passport holders from certain low- and medium-risk countries.
