EK ups DUR frequency, bag allowance
EMIRATES has introduced additional Durban flights for travel
from June 14 to August 4. This seasonal service will operate four
times weekly. These flights will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays,
Saturdays and Sundays, using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in
a three-class cabin configuration. Emirates has also extended
its pre-paid excess baggage allowance offer until September
30. Customers are offered up to 10 pieces of excess luggage,
charged per piece. This is valid for travel to all Emirates online
destinations. This is in addition to the free allowance applicable
in all classes.
El Al offers fast-track economy boarding
EL AL has introduced a fast-track boarding option for passengers
flying in economy class. The service costs $6 (R86) and is
available on all El Al flights to and from Israel. Passengers will
be boarded after those in business and premium economy.
Changes at Paris Orly airport
PARIS-ORLY will become a single terminal structured around four
departure and arrival zones on April 16, following construction
of a new building connecting the airport’s former west and
south terminals. Orly 1, 2, 3 and 4 will replace Orly-West and
Orly-South. Until the new Orly 3 building is officially opened, Air
France flights will continue to operate from the west and south
terminals.
