To help travellers who are nervous of flying, Virgin Atlantic has partnered with Lovefly, which devises creative ways to help them overcome their fears.
Their new partnership will offer people with aerophobia face-to-face and webinar courses, 30-day self-help programmes, social media support, and a free podcast with hundreds of hours of content.
The podcast’s tips from former nervous flyers, psychologists and professional coaches have proved particularly popular. New content will feature Virgin Atlantic pilots, cabin crew and special assistance officers providing advice and insights.
The pilots and cabin crew will host webinars to put nervous flyers at ease through question and answer sessions, while air traffic controllers will be on the panel to provide insights on how they contribute to aviation safety.
Corneel Koster, Chief Customer and Operating Officer of Virgin Atlantic, said: “Our fantastic pilots and cabin crew volunteer for Lovefly, using their expertise and reassuring knowledge to help travellers conquer their nerves and take on the world."
