São Paulo route to continue until end of March
SAA has advised that its São Paulo route will be cancelled on April 1 rather than on February 29 as per the airline’s initial cancellation notification last week.
Assistance will be provided to affected passengers whose tickets were issued before February 12 and who are holding valid SAA tickets (only).
Passengers will be re-accommodated on Ethiopian Airlines via Addis Ababa, on Taag via Luanda or on Latam from availability in the same cabin class.
If customers no long wish to travel, then the booking can be cancelled and a full refund (including taxes) will be offered to the original form of payment.
Perth time change
The airline will also implement a time change on its Perth-Johannesburg flights, effective March 1.
Assistance will be provided to affected passengers whose tickets were issued before February 13 and who are holding valid SAA tickets (only).
All passengers will be re-accommodated on the SAA-operated flight from Perth to Johannesburg on the same day at the new time.
Should this time change not suite the passengers they may travel on the SAA-operated flight the day prior or the day after their original booked SAA service without any penalty. They also have the option of a full refund without penalty.
