Sun International has sold its travel and tours division, Dreams, to Songhai Capital, a majority black-owned investment company.
“We have been considering the future of Dreams within the Sun International stable for some time now. Following the comprehensive review, we decided that selling our stake in Dreams would improve operational efficiencies and productivities while allowing Dreams to grow its business and realise its true potential,” said ce of Sun International, Graeme Stephens.
Change of ownership will be effective July 1. Dreams will continue to be headed up by Erica Barrett and staff will be retained. The operator will continue its existing business relations with Sun International but will operate as a separate entity.
