Border Air, which represents LATAM Airlines in South Africa, recently hosted an airside product training event for a group of VIP agents.
Seven agents inspected LATAM’s Airbus A350 XWB, which has been operating the Johannesburg-São Paulo service since August 1.
On board the aircraft, they were given a presentation and participated in activities led by LATAM airport station manager, Rodrigo Saldanha Marinha and station supervisor, Sulaika Nobrega.
The agents experienced the new premium business service, as well as the LATAM Plus (Premium economy) and economy cabins.
Lynn Stevens, manager of 360 Degrees Travel, says the first-hand experience of seeing the new aircraft will make it much easier to upsell the LATAM Plus seats.
