The design for the luxurious reboot of the Orient Express, set to launch operations in 2026, has been revealed.
Seventeen carriages dating back to the 1920s and 1930s, formerly known as the ‘Nostalgie-Istanbul-Orient-Express’, are being redesigned by renowned French architect Maxime d’Angeac.
D'Angeac, inspired by Agatha Christie's depictions of the train, has designed the train to embody the glamour and secrets it is famous for.
Furnished in shades of green, brown and red, the train's neo-vintage interior decor boasts oriental circular framing, gold embellishments and an array of extravagant mirrors, opening the space up and creating an air of mystery.
