A new COVID-19 plugin available on Travelport Smartpoint gives travel agencies information on government restrictions, lockdowns, and safety measures across the globe.
The plugin is free for Travelport users and will give travel agents access to the most up-to-date information without leaving the GDS workflow. It shows integrated information such as country lockdown level indicators, government restrictions and quarantine measures in place.
The information is shown based on the countries within the itinerary and agents can also search through an interactive world map. The map indicates lockdown levels in each country, allowing agents to advise travellers on specific destinations.
