Indian carrier IndiGo has launched a new feature designed to provide solo women travellers with the option of being seated next to other solo women.
According to travelandtourworld.com, the new initiative allows women to check and choose seats next to those pre-booked by other women travellers during online check-in. The airline believes the feature will improve the comfort and safety of women travelling alone.
The airline says it provides visibility of seats booked by other women based on the details provided on PNRs.
