Red Sea Global in Saudi Arabia has been certified to accommodate people with various disabilities – including mobility impairments – at its diving centres.
The Red Sea Global’s two five-star diving centres, Nujuma at the Ritz-Carlton Reserve and the Turtle Bay Dive Centre, were awarded the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) classification.
The diving centres have fulfilled the conditions for the certification, including wheelchair access to all areas of the facilities and boats that cater for people with mobility disabilities.
Diving trainers at these centres also completed the PADI adaptive techniques speciality course to accommodate and train divers with disabilities.
Red Sea Global is owned by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia. One of the company’s key ambitions is to develop Saudi Arabia into a responsible and regenerative tourism destination.
