Radisson Hotel & Convention Centre Johannesburg OR Tambo is set to open on November 2.
The 248-room hotel is a 10-minute drive from the airport and offers a range of room types, including a de-luxe suite (which includes a private living room and wrap-around balcony), a diplomatic suite and a presidential suite, both of which include business meeting areas and lounges.
All rooms have smart flat-screen TVs, workstations and complimentary WiFi. The hotel also features four restaurants, including a fine dining restaurant and a rooftop restaurant, as well as a grab-and-go deli and a cocktail bar.
Other facilities include two pools and a fitness centre, and in December a spa and wellness centre will open. It will be the largest freestanding Amani Spa.
The conference centre features a large function hall that can accommodate up to 1 260 delegates and is fitted with translation booths, built-in projectors and PA systems. Six breakaway venues can host up to 100 guests each and there is also a separate exhibition area.
Other facilities at the convention centre include a VIP holding room, team-building area, dining space, boardrooms and business lounges.
Guests at the hotel can make use of the complimentary airport shuttle.
