A new luxury tented eco-camp, Khwai Expeditions Camp, has opened in the Khwai Village, in the eastern Okavango Delta.
The six luxury tents and a family cottage (which sleeps two adults and two children), are built on raised platforms and feature a balcony with a view of the seasonal lagoon. The en-suite tents have indoor and outdoor showers (some have a bathtub), and are connected to the main dining and entertainment area by raised walkways.
The camp, which is solar-powered, has a bar and lounge, an open fire area and a swimming pool. Activities include game drives, bird watching, mokoro excursions, wildlife viewing, sundowner and scenic flights in the Delta.
