Mohahlaula Airlines plans to operate scheduled passenger flights within Lesotho, once the country's government lifts the re-imposed nationwide lockdown, reports ch-aviation.
The airline secured its Air Operator Certificate from the Lesotho CAA in February, and had planned to operate regular scheduled flights from its base in Maseru to Mokhotlong, Semonkong, and Qacha’s Nek. However, the country went into lockdown from March 29 to May 19, and again from July 20 to August 3.
Phafane Nkotsi, ceo of the airline, said in a statement that it planned to open for business by operating domestic and international charter flights, which, due to their nature, had fewer frequencies and smaller clusters of passengers.
