Malaysia Airlines has partnered with AccessRail to introduce new single tickets for flight and rail services for passengers landing in London and Seoul, allowing the airline’s passengers to book train tickets to neighbouring cities departing from London Heathrow Airport or South Korea Incheon International Airport.
The ticket utilises existing train services using Korail KTX trains in South Korea and the London North Eastern Railway (LNER) in the UK.
The multimodal ticket is available on all GDSs and can be purchased through the Malaysia Airlines website.
“With the introduction of our new MHrail product, we provide passengers with a seamless avenue to purchase both flight and train tickets, making it convenient for our guests to explore neighbouring cities and enjoy onward connections upon arrival in London or Seoul through a single itinerary and ticket,” said Dersenish Aresandiran, Chief Commercial Officer of Malaysia Aviation Group, the parent company of Malaysia Airlines.
