Strict new regulations for establishments such as bars, pubs, nightclubs, hotels and other alcoholic outlets are being enforced in Kenya. These measures aim to reduce alcohol abuse.
The operating hours for establishments selling alcohol are strictly regulated, from 17h00 to 23h00 on weekdays and 14h00 to 23h00 on weekends.
Kenyan authorities have also taken a strong stance on public health by banning the importation, manufacturing and sale of hookah tobacco.
