TSOGO Sun’s Garden
Court Milpark hotel
in Johannesburg has
completed an extensive
refurbishment and upgrade
to its conference facilities.
Gm, Noël Macquet, says
the hotel’s new look and
feel were inspired by city
loft living as well as the
rejuvenation of the city.
Noël, who is excited about
the Rea Vaya bus route,
says the bus system is
featured prominently in the
design of the hotel, which
includes pictures of the bus
stations as well as iconic
Johannesburg buildings.
All the bedrooms, the lobby,
the lounge and the corridors
have been refurbished and
two conference venues and
a tness centre have been
added to the property. New
room types have also been
introduced and the hotel
now offers 76 standard
king and standard rooms as
well as 140 family rooms
that include 12 superior
rooms, 19 deluxe rooms
and four executive rooms.
The executive rooms have a
small open-plan lounge and
kitchenette with semi-selfcatering
facilities.
The hotel’s conference
offering includes three new
conference facilities, seating
up to 140 people, while
the two existing meeting
rooms have been upgraded.
“The new conferencing offer
was driven by the demand
for quality venues close to
the city and surrounding
attractions,” said Noël
