Finnair has released a new flight schedule to Norway that will give passengers a view of the natural phenomenon of the Midnight Sun.
Finnair has relaunched its route to Bodø, Norway, and has scheduled five weekly flights, which will be available until August 12 to align with the event, reports Bloomberg.
“As the only airline to offer scheduled international flights to the city, we know our summer service will prove popular with customers looking to experience the Midnight Sun,” said Anssi Partanen, Finnair’s Marketing Director for Europe.
The Midnight Sun is an extended period of daylight when the sun remains visible throughout the night.
Flights from Helsinki depart at 09h35 and arrive in Norway at 11h10 on Mondays and Wednesdays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, flights will depart from Helsinki at 18h05 and arrive in Norway at 19h35. On Saturdays, flights depart at 16h40 and arrive at 18h10.
Return flights depart from Bodø at 11h35 and arrive in Helsinki at 15h00 on Mondays and Wednesdays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, flights depart at 20h00 and arrive at 23h30. On Saturdays, flights depart at 18h35 and arrive at 22h05.
