BLUEBIZ, Air France
KLM’s loyalty programme
designed for small and
medium enterprises, has
been augmented with the
addition of Delta Air Lines,
which joined the programme
at the beginning of the year.
Kenya Airways is also a
partner for the programme,
which allows companies to
earn Blue Credits on flights
operated by Kenya Airways, Air
France, and KLM. The credits
can be redeemed for free
tickets for the company. The
programme can be combined
with Flying Blue, so that on
the same ticket, companies
earn Blue Credits and Flying
Blue members earn Miles.
Commenting on the
development, Jimmy
Eichelgruen, Delta’s Sales
Director for Africa, the
Middle East and India, said:
“We understand that not
all businesses are huge
multinationals and therefore
a corporate agreement isn’t
appropriate. BlueBiz, with
which we partner with Air
France and KLM, enables
SMEs to gain some of the
benefits of a corporate
recognition scheme on a
scale more suitable to their
needs and travel habits.
“We know that travel
plans can change at the
last minute,” Jimmy adds.
“BlueBiz customers aren’t
penalised for this as the
scheme makes it easy to
adapt plans.” Members
also benefit from free
name changes and priority
services.
