Germany-based cruise line company Riverside Luxury Cruises has bought four Crystal Cruises ships in addition to Crystal Mozart (now named Riverside Mozart), which was acquired in November 2022.
The former Crystal Cruises ships – MS Bach, MS Ravel, MS Mahler and MS Debussy – have been renamed Riverside Bach, Riverside Ravel, Riverside Mahler, and Riverside Debussy. They are already available for agents to book, with Riverside Mozart to set sail on the Danube from April.
The Danube, the second-longest river in Europe, passes through nine countries across central and southeastern Europe.
Riverside Ravel will sail on the Rhône and Saône rivers in France, and Riverside Debussy on the Rhine – also both from April. The Rhine flows through Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria and Germany, also touching the Netherlands and France.
Next year, Riverside Bach and Riverside Mahler will embark on itineraries still to be announced.
