Cape Grace, situated in Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront, is now a Fairmont-managed hotel. After nine months of extensive renovations, the property has reopened its doors.
1508 London was behind the architectural and interior redesign, which portrays Cape Town’s rich history and culture.
Each of the 112 rooms and suites features French windows or balconies that offer guests views of either the Marina or Table Mountain.
The exclusive two-bedroom Cape Grace Suite has a large terrace that provides panoramic views of Table Mountain, and has a stylish lounge, a dining area with a private bar, and a butler’s pantry.
Cape Grace teamed up with renowned Cape Town chef Gregory Czarnecki to develop a new South African-inspired menu for its fine-dining restaurant, Heirloom.
The revamped Bascule Bar & Lounge, celebrated for its extensive whisky collection and exclusive wine cellar, will reopen in June.
The hotel also features a new pool bar, the Fairmont Spa, and a library lounge that showcases a collection of artefacts and local contemporary art.
