Cambodia is introducing a new entry process that will go live on July 1, with all travellers to the country required to complete an e-Arrival Card application within seven days before their arrival.
From the beginning of next month, paper documents will not be accepted, reports travelMole.com.
The new e-Arrival Cards will not replace the requirement for a visa or change existing visa requirements but will replace the paper immigration form, health form, and customs declaration to streamline the arrival process.
The e-Arrival app can be downloaded from the Google Play or iOS App Store. Alternatively, the application can be completed via https://arrival.gov.kh/.
Travellers register on the platform by taking a picture of their face and passport page before submitting their application. Once this process is completed, a QR code will be generated that can be saved on travellers’ phones to display at border control.
