Following last year’s live-action Barbie movie, Mattel Inc. has collaborated with the Bahamas Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in Nassau to launch an immersive Barbie-themed experience. Titled ‘Barbie Bahamas Beach Vacation: Where Atlantis Dreams Come True’ coincides with the celebration of Barbie’s 65th anniversary.
Barbie Bahamas Beach Vacation includes a stay at a Barbie-themed guest room, exclusive retail options and a variety of interactive themed activities and offerings. One of the main attractions in the experience is within The Royal Hotel, which features an open-air marine habitat, life-sized Barbie sets and Barbie-themed play areas.
Guests can embark on a Barbie culinary adventure at the Sun & Ice Café, which offers a range of Barbie-themed desserts, cocktails, and mocktails. The experience also includes Barbie-inspired kids’ adventures, such as cooking classes and Atlantis Kids’ Adventures Club activities, as well as Barbie movie nights, hosted poolside and in the Atlantis Theatre.
